Almaty is obtained the rights for host the World Futsal Championship among students, which is held in August from 19 to 26, 2018. The strongest teams from all over the World are invited.
In April 26 -28 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the 2018 FISU World University Championship Seminar was held. It was attended by about 100 delegates from more than 30 countries, which will organize the student world championships in different sports in 2018. More than 80 Student World Championships will be held in 2018. According to the championships` quantity, the largest number will held in France, Spain and Poland.
Rector of MUIT Shynybekov Damir Abduhalievich took part in the seminar as President of the Student’s Futsal League, which is in common with FISU and the Federation of Student Sport of Kazakhstan will hold the Futsal World Championship in August from 19 to 26, 2018 in Almaty. The Championship will be held for the first time in the CIS and Kazakhstan territory. It is planned the participation of the world’s strongest futsal teams, such as teams from Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, Thailand, Iran, Russia, Ukraine.
Within the seminar, the Kazakhstan delegation passed training aboutthe rules of organization of world championships, the amended rules of the competition, studied the other countries experience using 2016cases studies,negotiatiated with Director World Championships FISU, Mr. Paolo Ferreira, FISU experts according to the rules of the championship, and also with delegation representatives from Brazil, Portugal, Poland, Switzerland, France, Russia and other countries and invited the teams to participate in the World Championships in Almaty. The tripartite agreement on holding the World Cup was signed between FISU, the Federation of Student Sport of Kazakhstan and the National Student League.
